1 - It is the headquarter of CCTV.

2 - It is in Beijing city.

3 -The building behind it happened to fire disaster on Feb.9th,2009.

4 -It is television cultural center of CCTV now.

5 -Almost every day. I would like to recommend CCTV-4 to a foreigner. It is a International Channel of CCTV, its language is English. so it's better for you to know Chinese culture and all kinds of news from all over the world.

3 - Yes, but check your grammar. Perhaps you can say "had a large fire". 10JHD

4 - "it" meaning the Mandarin Hotel where the fire was. After the fire it looked like this: 

What is happening to it now? What are they doing to it?

5 - "It is CCTV's English channel." Good answer, but you should recommend a specific "program" not just a "channel". :P
