2. Because Kim Jong-il had died of a heart attack, and he was declared to be the next leader of North Korea.
3. Vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party.
4. He was named vice chairman of the Central Milirary Commisson in Sep, 2010. After his father's death on Dec,17, 2011, Kim Jong-un will be successor of Kim Jong-il.
5. I bought a book named "Nothing To Envy" in HK which described the lives of six people of North Korea. This book takes us deep inside this country and I recommend this book strongly!

However, Kim Jong-un's newest of many titles as of two days ago is "Supreme Commander"
and for #4, this is past tense so you should say "became", not "will become"
