Alfred North Whitehead
分析显而易见的事物需要非凡的头脑
The name is right Rachel - Alfred North Whitehead.
but try to use English to describe to me in your own words, what his meaning is.
usually people take the obvious things for granted ,but only the unusual people see deep meanings from these obvious things
I would not say "deep meanings" from obvious things. "Analysis" does not mean to see deep meaning. I am not very familiar with the works of Whitehead but I am very familiar with a protege of his. There is more meaning to it. Keep thinking....
不是驴也不是马。比喻不伦不类,什么也不象。
Faye is not in yet this morning - I will wait for her arrival to double confirm that your answer is fully correct! :)
the rule that the obvious things develop, how they function
By "Unusual" he means "Remarkable" or "Genius". He means that the obvious or the normal is not necessarily what is right or the way things should be. He means we should think for ourselves and questions that which most people would not even think of questioning.
