
This course is aimed at expanding Mandarin proficiency in business activities and expanding the student’s knowledge about business in China. Here you will learn a lot about various current events in the world of business and all the related communication skills. A brief introduction of Chinese society, culture, and customs will also be addressed to help students receive a comprehensive understanding of the Chinese economy. This course can be divided into the following three sections:
Elementary Business Mandarin
This course is designed for business professionals who wish to learn basic business Mandarin in their spare time. After completing this course they will understand the basic Mandarin needed for many common business and social situations.
Level I Sample sentences

Exit: “因为我特别喜欢小孩,所以我是老师。你呢?为什么当电脑工程师?”
Intermediate Business Mandarin
This course is fit for students who have already achieved an elementary or intermediate level of oral or business Chinese. Here we will dive into various business topics including companies and organizations, facilities, scheduling, meetings, planning, advertising, human resources, and cooperate culture. This course will help the students acquire approximately 1600 new words and will enable the student to be able to use Mandarin quite clearly for their daily working needs.

Advanced Business Mandarin
This course is designed for students who have completed the Intermediate Business Mandarin course and can read Chinese fairly well. Here we will discuss current events in China, including the hot and sensitive topics you won’t be able to discuss anywhere else. Students will learn business phrases and gain knowledge from examples taken from real life situations. We will also take a deeper look into the real Chinese economy.
