Mandarin students come to China to
learn how to speak Mandarin, but outside of the classroom the only
opportunity many get to practice the language they are learning is
when they are ordering food in a restaurant or bargaining for shoes
in the market. Building friendships with locals can be hard to do,
and the large expatriate community makes it easy for foreigners to
have a social life without having to use Mandarin at
all.
Students studying English may never
get a chance to practice what they learn, unless of course it is
needed in their workplace.
Our school is the only school
in Shenzhen to offer a platform for students to interact
with the native speakers of the language they are learning. We
provide many opportunities for our Chinese students to practice
English with our foreign students, and vice versa. Our students are
given many opportunities to form friendships with native speakers
and receive quality time to practice their new language outside of
the classroom.
These interactions can create
life-long friendships that have the potential to be the difference
needed to help the student achieve fluency. This outside of the
classroom experience is essential for language learning, and
greatly expedites the learning progress.
Some of our combination activities
include dinners, movies, karaoke, travel, sports, contests, and
presentation planning.

friends! In this lounge everything is free, and you can do whatever
you want, whenever you want. We offer great coffee, great
